The Florida Heterocyclic and Synthetic Chemistry Conference.
The Florida Heterocyclic and Synthetic Chemistry Conference (FloHet for short) is a biennial conference on heterocyclic and synthetic organic chemistry. The next meeting will be held from March 15th – 18th, 2026 at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Our mission is to unite diverse researchers, professionals and students alike, in the field of small molecule organic chemistry. This is achieved through breakout lectures, poster sessions, and ample group social events at UF and around the town of Gainesville, Florida.
FloHet is hosted by UF Chemistry, Prof. Aaron Aponick (UGA), Prof. Alex Grenning (UMN), and held in conjunction with Arkat USA.
